Note from Michael: The music for this song was written over twenty years ago, shortly after I met my wife. Every attempt to write lyrics failed miserably, but the tune was so catchy that I continued to play it on my guitar. Then, about a year ago, the lyrics finally came to me - I guess I needed to be married for twenty years in order to write them. Incidentally, there was one line that just didn't seem quite right - and on the morning that The Band of Brothers recorded the tune for the album - with the pressure on - I put the finishing touch on the lyric. Whew!
